New tank owner looking to upgrade

Currently I have a 20 gallon freshwater tank with a young black ghost knife and some other smaller fish that are large enough not to be eaten yet. I just ordered a 225 gallon tank from China and am looking for recommendations on cool fish to get. My partner and I are interested in fish that look like eels and carnivors with large impressive mouths that can coexist with our black ghost knife in the larger tank.

Any recommendations for fish we should get? The black ghost knife is only four inches right now, but we are hoping it will grow to its full 20 inch potential in a matter of years.

Tire track eels could work. Even larger polypterus will work as well but wait till the bgk has put on some size.

why is the bgk swimming sideways? is it alright?

Not sure if it fits the 'large mouth' option, but weather loaches are carnivorous and eel-like. I think you could have a nice school of 6-8 with your black ghost knifefish in a tank that size.

Lower jawed bichirs such as lapardei and endlicheri.
Datnoids could be a possibility they grow extremely slow. No sure, but if you want large toothy fish hydrolycus tatatuaia could work. Not sure of their compatibility with black ghost knife

I heard it's normal for them to swim sideways but if this isn't true it might be due to his lucky fin. He's special like Nemo

Put a BGK in a 180 gallon with well fed Bichir and the BGK got it's tail bitten off.
