Yes it's goldenbase flowerhorn for sure. Grow it out and see how it's going to turn out. Hard to tell gender right now so give it some time and then vent it.

FD is a strain developed by Wuddy, a Thai breeder.
Yes, that is what the shop owner said when I bought it. Said that my flowerhorn was a Fireman's dream from that breeder.
When I look up that term "Fireman's dream flowerhorn" the pictures look different than mine.

Could just be a lower grade fireman's dream or could be falsely marketed as FD line as I've seen done before with random goldenbase flowerhorn. Though as long as you are happy with your fish the background is irrelevant.
