Anyone here into fly fishing?

Spent numerous years here in AB in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains flyfishing for trout, but this was before digital cameras. Spent every spare moment either fishing, hunting moose/elk/deer/bear, or womanizing. All in the distant past now.

Plastic wrap on a cork grip?? WTH?

It’ll be on to the womanizing next. Elk Dinners like this aid the process to no end.

It would have sounded better if you'd have put, "spent every spare moment either fishing, hunting moose/elk/deer/bear and women". Lol.

Oh, and I agree, the polythene wrap needs to come off that cork handle.

I keep a sealed bottle of Jack on my book shelf just to remind of how I used to live. No regrets, but I honestly couldn't being myself to shoot an animal these days, let alone deal with the bloody aftermath. Hell, doubtful I could polish off anywhere near a full bottle of Jack, either. Gotten soft in my old age. lol

I'm spending the week after next deer hunting; haven't bought meat or fish aside from restaurant meals for over 40 years and certainly don't intend to start now.

Don't chase women since finally catching one that I married.

But i still enjoy beer!
