Hello brothers I recently buy a pack of 5 adults really giant rbp and I mean giant...
The feeding problems has started and don't eat and its very scared about lights for the first minutes.
How it is possible for a fish in this size to don't eat....only the team leader has grab a piece of pork heart yesterday....
In the petshop told me they will feed them just fish from supermarket and I tried but when I drop the fish they got scared....what kind of fish they mean?

Sorry for the questions but I am years in that hobby and I se this first time

Is the aquarium completely cycled? Sometimes it takes a few days for the fish to adjust to a new environment.
Is your light on a timer?

Is your light on a timer?

Yes it's fully cycling 26c temp and about 7ph it's all good with 2 internal filters 1 mechanic and 1 bio about 5 times cleaning pr hour.
The lights nurn on every day about 9 or 10 and turn off 21:00.
What you quys think about all that?
Too much light or any idea?
Before some minutes I drob shrimps and some of them eat with some signs of fear but they grab the food.

Also I see many times some of them getting the food and split it out what the heck?

That's normal if the food isn't what they were fed by original owner or lfs.

Omg I have to figure out what kind of fish they eat?
And this is very giant fishes I think its about 3 yrs old.
I don't want to move into live feeding although I know it would be very happy for this pack.
I was having another 2 rbs and started to eat everything after 1 week or so.
Any kind of food that it would be very easy and fast to eat in a few minutes and nice to watch with this lovely feeding moves and characteristics that we all like?

Don't worry they will eat if hungry enough. You could also ask the lfs what type of fish he fed them.

I asked and they told me just fish from supermarket... I don't know what they meant and its very difficult to communicate because his English it's horrible.
They mean fresh or frozen fish?
What kind?
So much questions it's like a puzzle back in the days

White bait fish frozen or fresh would be fine.
You could chop it up. Also some members have trained their piranha to eat pellet food.
Pellet food is balanced and nutritional .
