I’m staying in an Airbnb for the week of thanksgiving, and the backyard is filled with animals. There are at least 20 hens, a goat, 2 dogs, a few ducks, 3 turkeys, Atleast 5 roosters, and an emu! Yes, an Emu! His name is Onions and he is 7 months old. He is probably around 5 and a half feet. He will keep growing! He likes strawberries. Just thought I would share this with everyone! He’s a super chill bird. He likes to stick his head through the bedroom and bite hair!

Do you think if you were to somehow manage to sedate him and put a saddle on you could ride into battle on an emu

No, emu cavalry was banned as part of the treaty of Wollongong 1933 after the Emu Wars.
Honestly that sounds like it could be a fact…maybe it is
