Kinda just there imo. I wouldn’t hesitate to put a bn in a tank, or some other species based on tankmates, but I personally can’t justify paying hundreds of dollars for a fish that sits in one place all day.
There certainly are some amazing looking species out there tough (I’m looking at you phase 3 luteus)!

i would have to say IMO most plecos are a little bit boring and have a high waste factor. there are a few i really like;
Pseudorinelepis cf. genibarbis

Titan panaques scare me, I cannot imagine the reaction of the first person to see a full sized one

It depends on the pleco, I like watching ancistrus punch eachother with their gill spikes but idk what other species do
L95’s a interesting to watch, the l137’s come out and go about their business in the day time, l201’s are out and about in the tank today, common and sailfin plecos are impressive with their sheer size and un-shy-ness
I quite enjoy most plecos and their antics,
I guess that’s why my opinion is unpopular
Taste pretty good. Cook in their armour shell much like a lobster.
