I have only kept modesta briefly in the past. How tame do they get? Can you hand feed them like clown loaches and yoyo loaches or are they mostly shy and hiding?

Modestas are not shy & are active day & night.
They are boisterous feeders & with patience & time, could probably be trained to eat from your hand.

I have never hand fed a loach. Never even considered it. I will give it a try and see what happens.
