I think the area you covered looked like it has a little creekbed that used to run through it so I’m sure you’d get a bunch of catches in that little area
For any other fish I would 100% be fishing deeper water but trout are pretty much un affected by the cold and tend to stick to the shallows (8 feet or less).I always thought that during cold weather fish tended to gather in deeper water. There's an obvious deeper area in that lake shown on the diagram. Worth a shot?
Trout are generally unaffected by the cold but only if there is adequate habitat/forage available for them. If not they will move around trying to locate suitable conditions.Trout are much more resilient then the prey, and vegetation they rely on.
