Thanks I have AC 110s everywhere. Why do u suggest the FX 6^ BiG and bulky, Cleaning must be difficult?

I suggest going with three AC110's and call it a day. They should easily handle occupants of a 125.
I have run 125s all three ways, FX only, FX AC combo and AC only. The time it takes to clean a single FX you can clean all three AC's.
If you must go with a cannister I suggest a FX series. Ease of use, quality made, availability of parts. Drawback is all cannisters are a PITA to clean.

I agree. Can’t go wrong with an fx6. Great bang for the buck. Same with the AC110. Both designs are straightforward.

i use Fx6 / fx 4 on my 100g size tanks and marineland on my 75’s and 45g

marineland 360’s are $100

you can get the fluvals for $200 ish during sale times - think i have 8 or so, no issues

Not really, If you want a powerful filter, it's going to be big. And it's no harder to clean than any other cannisters I've had other than being bigger so it's a bit more to clean. Undo the knobs on the top, pull the top off, all the media sponges and trays lift right out. Rinse them, slot them back in and do up the knobs again. Done.
