tell the size of that fish,but if it is to 20 cm it could be m.circumcinctus...The bigger simillar species can be also mastacembalus frenatus.

i just bought it its around 8cm but its still a juvenile (or atleast i hope)
Normally i dont buy fish without knowing how big they get but i m just hoping its somewhere between 15-30cm. Otherwise i will bring it back
Could be circumcinctus. Let it settle in and will see.
There are tons of Mastacembelus, so it's not always easy to tell
couldnt find him. Was even starting to think that he got eaten. But here i find him today, and while i havent seen him or her eat.
She did grow 1,3x her /his old length.
Any idea what it is?
