Gold baseCan anyone help me identify this flowerhorn? The first photo is him right now and the 2 other photos where him about 1 month ago. His red always went away and came back for some reason.

Yup a goldenbase. Almost looks like a goldenbase trimac or rather it does look just like what one would look like but it's not. Should have good genes for health and longevity unlike most flowerhorn on the market. Very Nice!Gold base
He looks best with all that red in the 3rd photo. To maintain and/or increase red pigmentation, feed foods high in Astaxanthin. I recommend NLS Ultra Red, Northfin Krill Gold/Pro, or Hikari Blood Red Parrot +.Can anyone help me identify this flowerhorn? Yes they are probably the same thing. Golden flame sounds like a made up name for marketing but is probably referring to a goldenbase which is a more common name in the trade for a fader flowerhorm.Yup a goldenbase. Interesting I never knew that thanks and what do you think will be great to breed with this guy? I don’t know what to par him with.Yes they are probably the same thing. Hit up Chris Rounds on Facebook for a fertile female goldenbase. The goldenbase line he sells is called 'Firemen's Dream'. Very nice goldenbase.Interesting I never knew that thanks and what do you think will be great to breed with this guy? I don’t know what to par him with.
