Yeah that’s one of the things I love most about Flowerhorns you never know what you’re getting, here’s an update on him he’s gotten abit chunky and color has improved but has grown at least an inch, definitely a shortbody Aquatic Aggression Aquatic Aggression lol

Yeah you can definitely see the short body in him now, he's a good looking fella.

Thanks yeah I was happy with the results and yeah I also agree not a bonsai but definitely a short body
 
Now it looks like a fat runt. SB / bonzai are visually sb their entire lives. Looks like an sb though, I bet that lower jaw protrusion gets more severe as time goes on.
