I recently got these yo yo loaches. Noticed this today. Anyone know what this is and how to treat it? I know pictures aren’t very clear, but you know fast they move. Hard to get a good shot.

If you’re taking about the white bit on his face then it looks like an injury from digging in the gravel for food
Thanks. I do have a cave in there that has some rough edges. I’ll remove it. How would you suggest I treat the injury?
Loaches need sand, they will injure themselves (esp. barbels) on gravel or other substrates that are coarse.
I mostly have white sand, but I did throw in a little green gravel for color. (Long before I got the loaches). I’ll scoop out as much of the gravel as I can. Thanks!
I agree it looks like injury. Definitely from digging in gravel (though fwiw my skunk + eos are in gravel without injury, didn’t cross my mind that a potential problem could arise until now).
Like mentioned, just monitor for now and keep the tank water nice and clean - treat if it gets infected.
