Long story short.... I had my fish in a 75 gallon aquarium and a couple of my videos had water that wasn't visually appealing. But the fish are healthy and looked fine and as a matter of fact they are in their 6 foot aquarium. Anyways I had this hater on my YouTube channel named Sherman West. Funny how I remembered his name because all his comments were negative and stupid.
Anyways he commented on my gold wolf fish care guide with nothing but hate spewed towards me saying he felt bad for my fish, they were living in poor conditions etc...
Then today he threw a whirl of insults at me including the message below. I HATE people like this. In fact if he had sayed this verbally to me in my face he wouldn't be worried about fish he would have to worry about finding his teeth off the ground and sipping his soup through a straw. He is probably some old miserable man with nothing better to do. I have found that most people who are judgemental like these have nothing left in their life and instead of finding something they look to stir up people.
Anyway I just wanted to rant. These kinds of judgemental opininated people can ruin this great hobby. But luckily I know how to handle my self with them. I am not afraid of a confrontation with them.

It probably could have been worded nicer but do you think that everything he said is 100% factually inaccurate? Clean water isn't cloudy and a 75 gallon is a puddle for most fish, certainly most cichlids if not all.

Ignore him people like that rarely know what they're on about and he probably has never owned a fish tank
very well said.
especially with no content on his YouTube he is probably a troll.

Pretty much yes. Aquariums go through cycles and aren't always going to be crystal clear. The one tanks that will always be crystal clear are fish stores and that is because they get constant fresh water every day. Or tanks with lots and lots and lots of filteration.
A 75 gallon is a small tank but if it's what you have at the moment make the best of it and thats what I did.
Hell even a 1,000 gallon aquarium is small compared to what the fish get in the wild. so in my eyes it is no difference.

What do you mean they go through cycles? They go through the initial nitrogen cycle to establish bacteria colony.

Only fish stores have crystal clear water? Seriously?

Are you capable of being wrong? It's okay to be wrong you know.

I'm not saying that I have never been wrong. I have been wrong plenty of times and will be in the future.
Not all aquariums are going to be crystal clear 24/7 like most people think. Not everyone is going to have those fancy expensive filterations. People need to realize that just because a tank doesn't have clear water that the water is horrible or bad. It's more about visual appeal and I get it I do. However, the natural habitats in the wild are very rarely clear and are often very dirty and laced with debris. I knew my tank was heavily stocked and didn't have the proper filteration and I've made mention of it. It's not like I was hiding it. However, I don't think it's fair for him or anyone to say that I am a bad fish keeper just by the apperance of a tank in a single video.
But I know for a fact I'm NOT in the wrong for hating on this guy who left those comments on my YouTube channel.

So you just admitted to a lot of things he was accusing you of, right? He also never used the words "bad fish keeper" he implied it, but never actually said it. To your own admission your tank was heavily stocked and didn't have the proper filtration, so what is it? Is the unclear water for a different reason?

I would say you are in the wrong for hating on this guy, who cares what other people think? Forget him.

true. At the end of the day the fish got moved to a bigger tank and have the fluval fx4 and the filters from the 75 gallon. so it wasn't my permanant tank. I often let people's thoughts eat at me but I need to learn just to either ignore or delete the negative commentds.

Absolutely, it's never going to go away, the world will always have negative people.
