Best Color of Gravel?

What's the best color gravel to make the fishes in my list's colors "pop"?

I currently have
Green terror
Firemouth
Jewel
Blood Parrot
Black convict
OB Peacock
Orange Peacock
Dragon Blood Peacock
Yellow Lab
Black haplochromis

edit: It would be most helpful if you format your response like this,

Green terror - insert gravel olor
Firemouth - insert gravel color
etc.

For everything but the rifties, dark gravel/sand will look best
For the rifties, white fine sand will look best

Over the years,I have used light sand, natural gravel, and black sand. My favorite is the black sand.

Looks great ! I went with black in one of my tanks, but it’s a black back as well and I found it to be too dark so I added a peppering of grayish natural sand and I like it much better. In the pic it looks whiter than it is, but it’s 80/20 black

I use the Aztec gold in 2 of my tanks. It’s a nice dark red/brown.
Don’t have any good pics of the other tank (and it’s not the nicest scape either tbh).

What tank is this. I have the same stand. Also off topic but what’s the fish in the bottom left, kinda looks like a pacu. Actually now I look at it a bit more maybe a bala

This is the marineland 75 gallon. I like it a lot, it comes with a glass hood and a light that has both white and blue settings.
Correct that that’s a bala - really should be in a bigger tank.
