Want to Buy someone to help me package and ship a fish

Willing to pay someone to help me ship a fish (about 4-5 inches). I'm going to be moving for the summer as I got a summer internship and I want to bring him with me. I've never shipped a fish before and no matter how many YouTube videos etc I watch I just don't feel comfortable doing so. My brother has already cycled his new home for him and will be there to receive the fish while I finish up my finals. Any help in the Arlington Virginia area would be greatly appreciated (zip is 22209).

I want to ship him within the next 3 weeks

contact one of your local aquarium stores, and pay the fee to have them **** it for you. that's what I would do.

See if someone close to you in www.capitalcichlids.org or PVAS (pvas.com) (local aquarium societies) can assist. Otherwise, I'm happy to help if you can bring the fish to me (in MoCo, MD).

There is a reason there is a place for entering one's location on fish sites. dog got it right but did not offer a complete list for you to consider.

Virginia/Washington D.C.


Most of the members in any fish club across the country know how to ship fish and would likely be happy tp help.
