Hello all,

Curious for experienced cichlid owners advice/comments/concerns on introducing a single EBA in my current setup. In researching most say temperament is okay and they don't dig too much.

Upgrading from 55 to 75.

The tank: (about 2 years established for plants and ship, 6 months on the sand and rocks)
- black sand
- heavily planted (XL Amazon sword, Crypts, jungal val, floaters)
- driftwood, rocks, and 1 artificial sunken ship
- canister filter and proper lighting.

The stocking
- Giant danios
- sengal & delhezi bichir
- paradise and gold gourami
- bristle nose pleco
- Peacock eel

I'm not planning for any more sa cichlids at the moment, I don't need anything to uproot all my plants (rocks currently surround most my plants on the base).

Mild aggressive until they spawn and the EBA will defend and protect eggs, wrigglers, or fry.
A single EBA should be fine with your other fish.
