A particularly bad dry season had all but dried up the waterways, but the odd fish rich pool still remained. This particular hotspot is teeming with RTCs and arapaima.

Charlie didn't have a licence to fish this hot venue so he parked the van in a place so he could make a quick getaway in case the bailiffs came asking for his fishing permit.
Charlie was in two minds whether to get his boat out, or fish from the bank. He chose the latter.
