My Rope fish is sick! Please help!

I’m having similar issues. I have not seen any worms but the white patches that appeared on your fish are on mine and it’s spread rapidly starting with a small partch on face. One fin melting away, swimming becoming stiff in areas where the scales lost color. My other rope appears fine. This is the second time this happened after introducing a new ropefish. First time it happened my healthy rope died as well as the sick one. I am currently treating with e.m erythromycin, light salt (I have loaches), and Fungus Clear (Nitrofurazone, Furazolidone, Pnotassium Dichromate). Parameters on water are perfect. Heavily planted 75 gallon tank.
I have another tank with a ropefish and he’s 15+ years old. I’ve had him since college and never had issues like this. Super stumped and hoping treatments will work but it didn’t the first time this issue showed up.

My quarintine tank has baby angelfish growing out in it, so unfortunately not this time. Normally yes ?.
I would check local listings for a used tank ASAP. When you find one clean it up set it up, seed it with some current media from your established tank. Transfer the rope fish to the new quarantine tank and treat both thanks. Wishing you the best of luck.
