Ken Davis hybrids red chancho or midas fenny

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes my friend has order and been keeping 6 chanchos from Ken they’re doing good and they’re healthy

the red chanchos look like chanchos but they fade like Midas. It’s been backcrossed to pure Chancho like 5-6 times. He takes a fader female from each generation back to the pure male to get the next generation. These on the other hand…
And none of the ones he’s put pictures up of look parroty- but you should ask him if some are. There’s some Up to about 7” at this point.

I got a trio of each cross ken listed. They are small but the chancho hybrid live up to their piggy name- I think they are wider then they are tall.

and the fenny/midas cross is the fastest growing fish I’ve ever kept. (And wild Oscar’s are amongst my favorites)

How do you mean parroty? The mouth looks more like an amph then a vieja but the body looks normal

nonenof them look parrotty that he has posted. I would think he’d show them if he had them.

I think the most interesting fish will show up in F2 of that cross. Those should be more all over the place as far as structure. I may get a pair but I don’t have space for any kind of longterm project with those beasts. I need to build a little greenhouse I can heat to 68 in the winter so I can just keep them in stock tanks like I do
