4-5” kelberi pbass

Hello guys just got my first 2 kelberi pbasses, Howlong does it take them to settle in new tank got them 3days ago, every time I come by the tank to check on them they just stay in the bottom corner. I got them from a local Fish supplier, he also said they are eating pellets aswell. I was wondering would hikari sinking pellets work? Or any cichlid sinking pellets work?

my personal experience says it varies from fish to fish and batch to batch, I've had 4 purchases on baby pbs, hiding as you described is what I mostly saw, and it took 3 days to 2 weeks for them to come out more actively. however, for the most recent purchase from my LFS (finally!), I got 3 keberi 2 orino at 1.5-2'', and there were all active and eating immediately, and they were already taking shrimps which never happened to me before!

so yeah, I guess is a combination of wishing good luck and patience.

Pbass do better in groups. Get dither fish or a few more pbass.

?? Shoot I think my fish supplier ran out of pbasses already, gonna be having some loaches in though

Get 2 Oscars about half the size or the pass. They will teach the bass.
