Hi friends. I need some advice and I’m not sure why there is some colour changes in my aquarium. It’s started like this. Last week, I did changed the water with 50% of water in. And it was ok and later, it changed to green in colour as I use the bacteria drops when I changed it. Moreover, 2 days before, I did changed the water. And it still changed to green in colour. Why is this changes happening ? Is this due to the bacteria drops or what?

Do you use dechlorinator?
When I here green colored water algae bloom comes to mind.

Hi friends. My aro is likely to be breathing fast abit and not eating after water changes. Why suddenly? And I did maintain the same level of anti chlorine & etc. Please advice me guys.. so worried

When you say "used bacterial drops", is it because you are using them to speed up the cycling process
Is it a recently set up "new tank"?
When did you add the Arowana? and how big is it?
Do you have a test kit to measue water parameters?
If so, what are the results for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?

The fast breathing isn't good, waiting for your water test numbers, but otherwise it sounds like the algae issues with my goldfish tank. Bigger poopier fish, less plants, much limited clean-up crew, so it needs and gets twice the water changes of my other tanks, and I run the lights less. Last couple months, consistently clear water again.

I would test the water supply as well, it’s possible your tap water might have some junk in it. Mine has phosphate and ammonia in it, both can cause algae issues. In my case, I just have to run phosphate removing media.
Have you tested the water?

Also, I would probably loose the drops. In a cycled tank you do not need them.
