At the moment I'm using a Aqueon Pro 300W heater for my 225 Gallon, it heats it pretty well all alone. I have it connected to my Inkbird controller which keeps my tank within 76 to 79 degrees (I have it on a 3 degree variation).

My question: Are there better heaters I can use for this tank with the controller? I have a 250W and 300W Eheim Jager heaters but they are made of glass and I dont know if I should continue using them with my big fish as he DOES knock into them from time to time and luckily they have not shattered.

Are Aqueon Pros good? if not, what are some good titanium heaters I can use?

How are these from BulkReefSupply?

I have 2 titanium heater elements on a 240 on seperate controllers I will purchase more as my regular heaters get old on my other tanks

I think the question is from what source and are the heating elements more reliable.... I've had one of my titanium heaters fail after 18 monhts (it was a hygger).

I guess all heaters fail at some point I had cheap heaters still running after 3 years and expensive fluval fail after 2 years just make sure you have back up heaters in case one fails . In my bigger tanks I use 2 heaters so the water is heated quicker there is less work load on the heaters .
