Not dying based on color but it’s dark bc it’s stressed and it’s tank mates are slowly destroying its fins.I am actually thinking Jack Dempsey too but female (although too early to know), and that is false, it has looked like that for almost 2 months, definitely not dying my friend. It’s a baby lol. It’s one of the most active fish in that grow out tank… I monitor all 8 of my tanks regularly.
Without any of that information given beforehand how are we supposed to know? All we are doing is identifying the fish and giving advice based on the fish pictured to try to help…Thank you for your answer but it is super frustrating on these threads that when you ask a question everyone gives their two cents on things they have no idea what they’re talking about. Those pictures were taken a couple weeks after I got it. It killed most (all but the convict) that came in the same pack as him. Aside a few dither fish he essentially has the whole 75 gallon tank to himself. Eats normally and is always active. I would never make an assumption on someone else’s fish without seeing it. Y’all generalize way too much and never realize each fish is 100% unique. Again thanks for your reply that had nothing to do with the post, but it’s irrelevant![]()
