Are there any plecos that can live with Bichirs and a SAL? I know that many plecos tend to be slime coat suckers and so I was asking if there is any species that can fit the 3 criteria:
1 not sucking slime coats
2 not overly aggressive that it would attack the other fish over territory as Lungfish get large and are generally pretty vulnerable to attacks and usually don't defend themselves well from what I have seen
3 gets large enough to not be a meal for the Lungfish

I figure I would ask this here since its a pleco specific question.

generally the cactus plecos are safe with bichirs, my Luteus was fine with my bichirs too, just stay away from the Panaque and Pterygoplichthys genus

Personally I have a P Bichir Lapradei in a tank with 12 bristlenose plecos just fine, the Bichir is smaller than the plecos too and I do not see any slime coat sucking going on since I had an incident with my former Common pleco killing my Ornate Bichir by slime coat sucking. From my experience it seems just the monster plecos hate anything bottom dwelling and just harass it (and usually they realize its a free easy snack of slimecoats). But Bristlenose plecos are small so I figure thats why they wont put the effort in to attack the small Bichir or Lungfish there. And I know I need to remove those fish as they grow, this is just their grow out tank until they are either too aggressive or large enough to be in with my other bichirs, before anyone says that this isnt long term.

My redspot pleco has been fine with my bichir for at least a decade.
Fair, I just am reluctant because I have kept many bushynose plecos and I have had some really mean ones that would just maul everything near its territory (yes even catfish twice its size) and others that were very passive. I know fish have personalities but I worry that adding in any large pleco will lead in to slime coat sucking.
