Hello ? so a really good deal has come up on some 15mm acrylic (5/8") and with the price of plywood and glass skyrocketing in Australia it's almost cheaper to buy acrylic I can have all the sides and bracing cut to size and bought for $1200 aud

The dimensions I plan to build are 2100x1000x600mm or 7x3.3x2h
Or
1800x1000x600mm 6x3.3x2h this size is Abit cheaper by like $100 aud

My question is will this acrylic be okay for either of these dimensions I'm not very good with the ol acrylic calculators I can find online, I should have paid more attention in school ??

I was originally going to build a tank out of plywood like I have done previously but what a awsome deal this acrylic is I don't think I can pass it up if it will work

5/8” will b more than adequate for 2’ tank height. Wont make any difference for the rest of ur proposed dimensions. I have a 5’x3’x2’ built in 3/8”… also 30.5” and 32” heights both in 1/2”… my tanks are pushing the limits, there is some bow, but they hold just fine. 1/2”-5/8” is pretty standard for 2’ tank height.
