Hello. Recently I've been trying to research as much info about Geophagus and its sub-speeshes as I can. However, I'm not getting too far. Can anyone recommend a good website to me so I can make the best decisions on witch one would soot the tank size if any. I just want to do whats best for the fish and don't want to stuff them in to a glass box they don't fit in.
Thank in advans.

You're already on one of the best websites there is! "A point in the right direction" would be to post your questions in the "cichlid" sub forum. I'm sure there are loads of guys there who can guide you.

There is a book called South American Eartheaters by Thomas Weidner, that is out of print (I believe), but is sometimes able to be found at aquarium club "swap meets", antiquarian book stores, and the like (maybe even on -line), and although it was written before the current taxonomic update changes,......
the general info is excellent, with water parameters provided, and very detailed, the photos of fish and habitat are great.
