Vittatus Growth Rate

I got a 4.5-5" Vittatus last week. Love the thing and its eating frozen straight away.

Its in a 4ft grow out for now as would get eaten in my bigger tank. I'll wait till its a good 7" or so till i move it.

What is the growth rate like on Vittatus? I know its crazy quick on Goliath but not sure on these?

.5 inch a month depends on diet. Do you have pics of your vatf. I want to see them

Its already grown and has more colur but I understand its not a vitattus but actually a Forkshelli

No. It's a vatf. Forskahlii has a different upper jaw and different pelvic fin placement. Also different adipose fin color

I feed silversides, mussel and prawn, he wont take the hikari massivore
