Maybe I’m late to the party, but I just got a few rainbows to use as dithers and these things are amazing! I never knew they were this entertaining and interesting.
Those look cool, I have two millennium,an Australian a turquoise and a Madagascar. I had heard of them, but didn’t pay much attention. I got mine at Petco with a gift card and coupons I got all plus 3 pieces of driftwood for 61 cents lolI had never heard of rainbows when I decided to restock my tank and get dithers for my clown loaches back in 2018. I really like rainbows and look forward to when I can have even more when I get a bigger tank.
I have like 15 in quarantine right now restock the ones I lost over the years and a new species I couldn't resist when I saw it appear in a flash sale on Black Friday at Imperial Tropicals. These are the fish (back in stock last week)

Sounds like they can hold their own, I’m hoping they last. Mine are gonna be with a group of G. Sveni and hujeta. Should be an active and colorful tankI love my aussies - definitely one of the most underrated dithers. Can be pretty mean too. Back when my Jack was smaller, they were the ones picking on him.
I’ll try when I get home, but they’re not very cooperative lolpics?
Really? I've found them to be quite tough. My dubs put up a fight with my three large Macleay river turtles.I hadn't ever given any thought to bows until my girlfriend fell in love with them. They pretty quickly became some of my favorite fish as well. They aren't all tough though. Our baby roseline sharks murdered most of a school of Deep Creek bows but leave the Bosemani and Turquoise alone
