Current stocking:
1 moonlight gourami
1 bristlenose pleco
2 platys
7 black neons (I'm going add one more)
3 Neon tetras (going to add 5 more)

The tank is cycled, and the parameters are all in check. So could I add 3 black skirt tetras, or would that be overstocked?

Might be pushing it a bit, but overall seems fine to me.

Well i dont want to overstock. But I feel like I could a something else, I just don't know what. I would have done corydoras but my tank is gravel, so that probably wouldn't work. Any suggestions?

To be honest, only 3 black skirt tetras wouldn't look that nice. You already have enough tetras in your tank, so maybe you can try more platy fish instead. Try a 3 to 1 female to male ratio so you have a higher chance of getting fry.

Actually the two platys are already breeding so my hands are full as far platys go (right now I have the fry in a emergency 5g)

Tbh I’d just beef up the current school numbers before adding a new school.
