Here’s my stock for my 75g,
- 3 Delhezi Bichirs (all under 5”)
- 2 salvini cichlids (all under 2”)
-1 tire track eel (under 4”)
I know the tire track eel will outgrow my tank. Have future plans of upgrading. What algae eater can live in my tank. Like fancy plecos and other things. I don’t want to increase the bioload by a lot. Looking for under 7-8”.

Possibly a Bristlenose but I personally don't trust pleco with my Polypterus.
I had a pleco kill a $500 bichir so I second tlindsey.

Honestly with that stock I’d put in a few merited and call it a day.

As a new senegal owner why is that the case? Do they suck on the slime coat? I swear I see bichir/pleco tanks quite often.

Yep they suck on the fish. I had almost a dozen plecos with about a dozen bichirs, it was fine for a good while, it was just when that particular bichir was added did a single pleco go after him.
