My puffers are shutting a lot. Is this normal?

I have come go spotted puffers and they **** a lot. Like they do it every 5 hours and their poop is thick and long. I feed them only once in the morning and that is it. Should I reduce feeding from one a day to every other day?

What are you feeding them? I would skip a day.
