Stocking a 125 running a fx6 and xl sponge filter, i want to add one more but cant decide.

1x green terror
1x rotkiel sev
1x syndontis eupterus
5x silver dollars

my top choices right now are a yellowfin chalceus or ropefish but im open to suggestions

I’d go with something that hugs the top, like the chalceus, since the GT and syno hug the bottom and SDs and sev stay in the middle. Personally I think hujeta are little better than than the chalceus, not so skittish and more interesting. I have theee and they make a nice interesting and interactive group

You are definitely onto something with the hujeta. Do you also think i could put something to help turn the sand over? Maybe a single geo

Ya hujeta are awesome
Geos do better in groups but I have kept single geos for few months without issue, so I imagine it should be fine

I was thinking 1 male 2 females could work if they’re something that stays around 6”, but i really dont wanna overstock i hate how that looks

It might work, at least for a while
depending on the type of geos. Some get 10”+ others stay smaller. But I think they all grow pretty slow
