I have 2 Oscar’s growing out in a 75 gallon tank, I have a pretty much full grown Oscar in a 180 gallon with a few silver dollars, do you think they will hold their own? If not how big should they be before I mix them?

Give them another like 2" for good measure

You *should* be ok, but everyrhing is not without risk.

I've mixed them at this size before, I've had some group well and others not. All depends on the fish

We all know how temperamental cichlids can be. If your big Oscar views it's 180 as it's territory, and by now the chances are it does, then no matter what size those other two oscars are you may be in for some territorial disputes.

In time the disputes may subside....or not!

Well said.
They just need to be able to handle hashing out territory division. But your existing oscar may never feel like sharing so you have to be prepared to move them if that's the case

that’s what I thought, but it seems like the jack dempsy runs the tank as strange as that is.. maybe the Oscar just likes the jack or something or maybe my Oscar is just submissive 😂 I’ll give the others more time to grow and than add them after I remove everything from the tank to maybe reset the territory

Yes the aquarium up the road would love them, but I’m going to try them together one day, the big guy does very will with the other fish but I know with same species all bets are off
