Today my paroon shark's dorsal fin spine got broken , its about 3 inch long baby shark , does it grow back to normal , or my paroon shark will never have long dorsal fin like other paroon sharks? Here are some images, kindly share the thoughts 🙏VideoCapture_20230619-175750_resized.jpgVideoCapture_20230619-175359_resized.jpgVideoCapture_20230619-175459_resized.jpgVideoCapture_20230619-175531_resized.jpg

It should grow back given good food and water conditions - it’s hard to tell if it’s infected or not though. Could you get clearer pics of the damage?

As a side note, I hope you are aware how large these fish can get.

It's not going to grow back normally if you leave it that way.If you want the fin to be near perfect you will have to carefully cut it off just under the tear point so it will grow back fully..

No i don't have any clear pics, he moves so fast🥲, i added aquarium salt with heater so don't worry about infection , and its just a growing tank for him because my monster tank has big fishes about 10 inches, so i will transfer him as soon as he reaches 6 or 7 inches

Where did you get it from,if you don't mind telling?

IME there is a good chance it will grow back on its own just fine because only a relatively minor portion of the spine and the fin was removed. I'd figure out how it happened so it doesn't happen again.
