I’ve had a juvenile Oscar for around 3-4 months now and he’s only grown an inch and a half in this time I’ve been doing weekly water changes 75% and have been feeding Hikari cichlid gold 2x a day tank mate is an electric blue jack Dempsey that’s a little smaller and he’s in a 75 gallon grow out any tips to make him grow

Your water change regimen is probably good. More can't hurt.

Not sure at what temp you're keeping them but higher - say 82F - will increase metabolism and growth.

Main thing in my perspective is better food. Switch to Northfin or NLS or Xtreme or something better than Hikari. Also, add live food like red wiggler worms or earthworms to their diet to really kick things into gear.

Agree with this, more than anything else, water changes promote growth.
A regime of 3 x 50 gallon water changes per week wouldn't be overkill.

I have mine in a 600 gal tank setup on a pretty heavy drip and doing a sizable weekly water change but I have 5 p. bass, 2 aros, 4 Oscar’s, 11 silver dollars, and 5 rays. feeding cichlid gold 2-3 times a day to the bass and Oscar’s. They occasionally get a piece of tilapia or a night crawler. But for the most part just the cichlid gold and they have been growing pretty good this is from early may to late June

Fish look great. Honestly, I'd switch to a pellet with better ingredients than Hikari Cichlid Gold. And feed more live food - night crawlers, red wigglers, bugs, etc. to the oscar and bass. I've also been feeding dried soldier fly larvae - available at the feed store or online. They'll appreciate it!
