Take out your phone and google "Marbled Goby".

While you're at it...google "George Carlin".

You're welcome! :)

Marbled Gobies are pretty cool, I can't have one, but cool. The only goby I truly like are Violet Gobies...those things look freakily amazing Lol.

So he's a comedian? I mean...we both are comedic people, but I still don't get it XD

Yep; he was still an Oscar then. That was in his pre-wuss stage.

I rest my case...:)

Excellent! You are at least considering the idea of coming to the dark side...

Brick has never stopped being an Oscar. Two things will set him off without fail: being openly challenged and being crowded. He doesn't have to be alone in a tank but he's no pushover either. I'd say he falls in the tolerant category. As long as other fish stay in their 'place' he's good. He's also been known to go after fish and block their hides. Only exception is the parrot Boss who even headbutts the Oscar occasionally.

Three months ago I stopped a potential situation with Brick and syno Spot. Just happened to go past the fish room in time to see Brick's mouth firmly clamped over Spot's head. Before I could move he spat him out. Could have been a warning. Synos are known for nesting behavior especially during water changes and Brick hates fish bumping and squeezing under him. Spot tried to 'clean' him a few times and got slammed into the glass. Can't say synos are the brightest bulbs.

XD Like I said, funniest discussion by far...I want to have a syno. How much are they on average? I need this delightful source of dumbness in my tank.

I paid about $45 for Spot and $60 for Cash. Cash was flashier with better finnage at the time gold colored with spots. Spot was more chocolate brown and plain. They can be friendly, come out mostly at night and will swim upside down. They don't seem to learn at all...just keep reacting to the same situations over and over that cause them trouble. So if a fish beats them up they go right back to get beat up some more. They can get aggressive with other bottom dwellers if space is an issue.

That's pretty reasonable for price. :D
