What fish are top jumpers in your experience?

I havent seen Hatchet fish for years.Never tell your spouse that's scared of fish from the beginning that a fish could fly. I made that mistake when a hatchet fish jumped out and came home wife locked up in bedroom.

Reminds me of when I had asciatica snakeheads and like an idiot I put 4 in my outdoor pond in the summer. My ex wife rang and said there were fish on the patio flipping around and a neighbour had to go and rescue them!

I give bonus points to the wolf fish for precision jumping through a tiny hole barely the size of its head
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an arowana that lived long term without ever trying to jump out at least once.
I’ve only had one aro, a 24” jardini and I never had an issue with it jumping but I had egg crate with bricks on top. All of my friends with aros, especially silvers, always had issues with them opting out lol
If you know someone w/ a black or silver aro and no thought put into reinforcing the lid (or better), know that that fish is bailing out. It's what they do.
Prior to getting it, I knew they were jump prone so I made it a point to completely cover the top of the tank. Multiple times now when doing water changes I’ve seen him jump out, trying to get snails on the glass that are outside of the water.
