Couple of displays are ready

Right got two nice little displays done for an ANGFA NSW meeting on Saturday.
They’re going to be Blackwater, got the botanicals cooking at the moment.

The tank with the Val is a billabong style tank for some Melanotaenia macculochi, red striped rainbow/macculoch’s rainbow

The second paludarium looking tank is for somebody rhadinocentrus ornatus, Rhad/Ornate Rainbowfish

Should be set to get these blackwater later today.
Going to be a fun day on saturday, 42 degrees haha

Looking good, do you still have many active aquarium clubs up there? A lot of them are closing here due to the advanced age of members and lack of interest, one of them closed as 7 mebers died in 1 year and left only 13 members, years ago they had over 100.
Good luck with the weather 18C and raining here on saturday after a 35C friday.

7% humidity isn’t going to be the best.

There’s ANGFA NSW ~ 70-90 members
Cichlids society is pretty big I can’t get to their meeting so I’m not a member but some of the ANGFA guys are a part of it

If I can’t find a spot for them in the room/ house then yep. The familia may be a bit More inclined to letting this one in because it looks half decent.

I'm not sure yet...
Phone carked it within minutes so don't have any pics of set up tanks. Kinda annoying but the talk went well
