Albino Arowana Feeding and Compatibility Questions

1) I recently bought a 6" baby albino silver arowana. Currently, I'm feeding it a dozen small crickets a day, but I would like to convert its feeding to floating arowana sticks. How do I accomplish this because it is refusing the sticks right now?

2) How large will the arowana need to be before I transfer it to my 300 gallon aquarium housing my 17" endlicheri bichir? Currently, it's in my 55 gallon grow-out.

Stop feeding crickets and be patient.

Near the 1ft mark or large enough that Endli can't fit Aro in it's mouth.

How long should I be patient for? I mean, if it just keeps refusing the sticks, should I try for three days, and then give it crickets on the fourth day if it hasn't eaten anything before trying another three days of offering sticks only? Or how long should I hold out for?

If healthy should be able to go without eating for 1 week. Don't give in easily.

Hey, thanks for the advice. My albino arowana is eating Hikari Food Sticks now. He ate quite a bit today, and my small Clown Knife helped him eat them, too!
