Mbu puffer tank size

Currently looking too get an 8x3x3 tank, would that be ok too house him for life? I could possibly fit 8x4 but woukd have to do some construction at the house? Just looking for some opinions on this!

I have a 4 year old fish
The fish is currently over 24”
This tank is TOO SMALL
If you don’t already have the fish, find an alternative species
This species of fish requires 1000 gallon tank
