Need some help woth the mono peacock bass

1. Max size
2.would a 8x3x2 be good for life woth 2 oscars
3.how long would it take them to get to max size

Bro I swear I’ve answered you before…

1) max size 24” but average captivity most common is 18-20”
2) yes, a trio is fine
3) 14” within the first year is common, growth rate slows down after. Would say 3-4 years before max size is reached

So almost the size of kelerbi
 
the stock tank will work until they start reaching full size, what size are the cichla you will be receiving, my rule of thumb is if they are less than 6in its gonna be about 18 months till they start to develop into adults, you would probably want to look at a tank thats 2-3x bigger than the stock tank
