Hot Season

Here in Panama most aquarists use chillers to control heat for goldfish, Malawi cichlids, or other species that do best in water temps in the mid 70s.
Fans above the surface, and lots of water movement also help mitigate heat.
Because I keep tanks outside, I use floating plants, and water lilies to block the sun.

and lots of flow, and surface agitation, which seems to help to control heat buildup.

I just escaped Phoenix this past October and our 6 month furnace called a summer was brutal , I had multiple fans on every garage tank and they still were around 90f

Sounds pretty rough. Phoenix is about 105-120 from June-mid October and it will still be over 100 at 3am, it is muggy during monsoon but not nearly as muggy as Thailand im sure

Hot is hot wherever you are. I am sure Summer in Phoenix is just as harsh.

Don't think I could put up with cold any more. Or even cool. Or even just warm.

I am only comfortable with the right degree of hot.
