Most stuff is fairly cheap, save western stuff and beff is a bit spendy. They don't slaughter cows in mass like the US. When they die of old age, that's when they become food. So steaks are a bit more tough in texture than American steaks. How expensive are groceries there?

Just one side. But for $122 rent, I can deal with a duplex. That looks quite nice, like someplace I'd love to rent on a vacation. Is it a duplex or would you have both sides?
She must be over the moon, at least my sister was when my father bought her a washing machine.Nothing new to report really, we may have found a place like 30 minutes north of Davao. Two bedrooms, carpark etc etc for just 6000 pesos a month or 105 USD a month.
Got Cristine a washing machine so she don't have to do it by hand anymore. View attachment 1542181
