In my 125 I have a pleco, some BA and bloodin tetras, and 1 geophagus surinamensis, and 1 8 inch Zebra pike cichlid who has picked off a couple tetras. I'm wondering If i could possibly add a 2.5 inch green terror along with a retock of tetras. The pike isn't very aggressive at all most of the time he doesn't even notice my tetras, and he doesnt even acknowledge my 3 inch geophagus that swims right in front of his face. Ive had a green terror in the past, and he used to fight with a jack dempsey I had to the point where I had to get rid of both him and the jack dempsey. Is this a bad Idea? or do yall think it would work out fine. If yall think my tank is a little too small for this just lmk what you think.

Yeah I was thinking of having it for my final fish, then I'm done adding to my tank. Ive looked into acaras, but I dont like the electric blue ones since they seem artificially bred to me. If you dont think the GT is a good idea, then I could just get another geo and be done as well.
Its a mostly full grown blue/green phantom, its like 6- 7 inches long

maybe, but my pike seems to ignore my geophagus that is around that size. Also my pike sits in a cave for most of the day, he's pretty skittish for being an 8 inch predator that could be the king of the tank
They also require opposite parameters, green terrors like cooler harder water/higher pH, pikes need warm with lower pH.
From a purly geopraphical and biotope perspective, Andinoacara rivulatus (GT's) are not found with Pike cichlids in S America,
GTs are from west of the Andes, pike cichlids are from east of the Andes. Very different water conditions in those 2 areas.
The only Andinoacara naturally found in the same habitat with pike cichlids is Andinoacara pulcher, the (natural form of ) blue acara .

I would go for more geophagus, they like groups and it would be a better match with the crenicichla. I would not restock the tetras, they will certainly be eaten
