Filet-O-Fish: McDonald’s Most Overlooked Sandwich

I’ve noticed that the Filet-O-Fish sandwich gets a lot of hate. I’ve heard people say it’s McDonald’s worst sandwich, and I sometimes get weird looks or judgy comments when I order it.

What I find odd is that even people who enjoy fish don’t seem to like the Filet-O-Fish. Some have even questioned how anyone could trust seafood from McDonald’s. But honestly, I don’t see why McDonald’s would be any less trustworthy than a fish market or a fancy restaurant when it comes to seafood. Anyone else enjoy the Filet-O-Fish, or have thoughts on why it gets so much criticism?

A fried battered piece of fish...is it still a an actual piece of filet, or is it now a ground-up fish patty? Whichever, a fried piece of fish, with a mayonnaise-like dressing, slapped into a soft bun, wrapped up in paper, sitting under a heat lamp for...how long?
