Hi everyone. My Platinum Panda Angelfish laid eggs on the heater. Is that normal?

Tbh I've never heard of any cichlid laying eggs on a heater.
Hi. Hope your doing well. I just wrote the breeder to see what he thinks. I'm thinking maybe she did it because it's nice and smooth. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
Yes your right they don't no it's a heater lol. She probably will keep laying eggs on the heater. I suggest purchasing a sheet of slate from a lfs.
The breeder said it's ok as long as the heater isn't on. The heater needs to be on to heat the tank. He also said she might like the intake tube. We'll see. 
Wow that’s quick. The angels must be under good care to breed already. Back when I kept angels and discus, they bred on any vertical surface. When I had them in community tanks, I liked using Amazon Swordplants as they would lay there and I could snip the leaf and hatch artificially. When breeding separately, I used slate but they often laid on the wall and heaters anyways lol
