The pineapple plants are here...I ordered 2 and got 4! They're well made. Around 26" or so tall.

Sharing info. If you have tall/ big tanks, ponds, or want something different this guy can craft it for you. Compared to the limited large plants available prices can't be beat.
This looks nothing like the plant picture I had online. This is the 26 inch 'fern'. Anyway I'm gonna hit it with the krylon paint. Probably brown, stone (tan) and deep green overlay.
I really liked the Marsala colored sand but it looks like that didn't make the cut. I'm excited to see how this all turns out, thanks for sharing the whole process!

I would have used it but once I saw the background was less red then the picture I figured I could get a similar color with a mix.
I was able to secure some diy slate planks on Ebay with stainless steel screws that can be used for anchoring driftwood. I will be using these to place the tall stemmed plants in. The planks are pre drilled with a hole. Only 6 bucks each with the group discount.
Depending on the driftwood I may be anchoring it this way.
