Would Convicts and Hoplo Catfish Get Along Together?

All depends on the convicts. Generally the hoplo will be extremely timid and easy going which is not the nature of convicts all the time. I have had easy going ones and I have had convicts kill 4 piranha .
My guess would be yes due to the size of the tank as long as you’re not putting baby hoplos with adult convicts.

Somehow my hoplo ( don't know which species exactly) where not timid at all. They were not aggressive or so, but just didn't care at all for other fish or their territories and nobody including a full grown A. pulcher male could stop them.
I would worry about the hoplo cats if the convicts bred.
Would extensive hiding spots (driftwood, rocks, etc) help protect both parties from aggression since everyone would have their spots?
This wouldn't matter for the smaller convict female. A pair of convicts with eggs, wrigglers, free swimming fry are on another level of aggression. The hoplo is armored so that may help until it is removed.
