Your mbu is in pretty bad shape and the eye is the not the primary concern. It may or may not clear up with care and medication but I’d be more concerned about keeping it alive. It looks to be suffering from Epistylis as seen from all the spots on its body. They can lead to secondary infections as well.

Salt is good but it looks about time that you step up to meds. Look up how to treat Epistylis in this forum or the web.

Welcome to the forum. Here’s an article that might help.

First off, bump up your water changes and drop temps to keep bacterial counts low. Then add Seachem Kanaplex and Ridich Plus or Hikari IchX.

Its eyes look much better but it still got a bad case of epistylis. Have you treated it with any medication? What have you done so far? Also, what size is that aquarium? It looks very small.

im using metronizadole but now im using an antibiotic, i slowly add the antibiotic in a capsule but i would remove the capsule and use the medicine afterwards i would heat a cup of water and stir it gradually and put it in the tank and daily i would some salt 1-2 tbs per gallon,, the tank is only 20 gallons because it's only a growout for the mbu would later on add it to the 180 gallons. hope the recovery process of the mbu will be in a short amount of time

+1 for any form of kanamycin or gram negatives like maracyn 2, kanamycin usually works better but will have an effect on the liver if used in prolonged durations
